Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a Data Business Analyst to support a client on a data and AI strategy initiative. This role is highly stakeholder-facing, focused on discovery, workshops, assessment and developing a practical roadmap.

You will facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders, assess data capabilities, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for AI and automation. You will contribute to an AI strategy and roadmap and present findings to senior leadership during an

Qualifications

• Must have strong business analysis background with a data focus.
• Experience in data governance, analytics, reporting, data management or data transformation.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to translate complex findings into practical recommendations.
• Experience producing strategy, roadmaps or advisory outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive reporting.

An established technology consulting business is looking for a Data Business Analyst to support a client on a data and AI strategy initiative. This is a highly stakeholder-facing role focused on discovery, workshops, assessment and developing a practical roadmap.

The Role

• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Assess current data capabilities, processes, governance and maturity.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation and improved use of data.
• Develop recommendations and contribute to an AI strategy and roadmap.
• Prepare clear reports, presentations and findings for senior stakeholders.
• Identify key risks, gaps and priorities across the current data environment.

About You

• Strong Business Analysis background with a focus on data.
• Experience across data governance, analytics, reporting, data management or data transformation.
• Confident facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders at different levels.
• Strong ability to analyse complex information and turn findings into practical recommendations.
• Experience producing strategy, roadmap or advisory-style outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.

Desirable

• Exposure to AI, GenAI or Machine Learning.
• Experience with data strategy or transformation programmes.
• Consulting or advisory experience.
• Experience assessing data maturity, operating models or data capabilities.
