Job summary

Global Consulting Firm in Singapore is seeking an AI & Data Science Consultant to drive business transformation using Generative AI, agentic AI, data science, and ML. The role supports clients from design through implementation in a hybrid arrangement.

You will design and implement solutions, perform data analysis, build models, and deliver advanced analytics while translating requirements into scalable tech solutions for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of Generative AI, Agentic AI, ML, or AI/ML app development.
• Hands-on Python experience with NumPy, Pandas and Scikit-learn.
• API/back-end development using FastAPI or Flask.
• Data analysis and modeling using SQL.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and vector databases.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Business Japanese language proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

The role involves developing and implementing solutions using Generative AI, Agentic AI, data science, and machine learning, while supporting clients from solution design through implementation. This position follows a hybrid working arrangement and offers opportunities to contribute to advanced AI and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies
• Perform data analysis, build machine learning models, and deliver advanced analytics
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and support client engagements
• Develop proofs of concept, demonstrations, and prototypes to support pre-sales and business development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, machine learning, data science, or AI/ML application development
• Hands-on development experience with Python, including NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
• Experience in API and back-end development using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Experience in data analysis and data modelling using SQL
• Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Business-level proficiency in written and spoken Japanese
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or React
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI frameworks
  • Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation technologies, and DevOps practices
  • Industry experience in financial services, trading companies, or supply chain businesses
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience
