Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) is seeking a data analytics professional to support AFC/AML data projects. You will collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data, and assist in developing analytics or ML models under guidance.

The role requires Python and SQL proficiency, a solid foundation in statistics, and exposure to Power BI or Qlik is a plus. A finance/banking background and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, CS, engineering, economics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; juniors welcome with strong internships.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; strong data analysis and statistics foundation.
• Exposure to Power BI or Qlik is an advantage; interest in financial services welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics projects to improve AFC/AML outcomes.
• Collect, clean, integrate and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Assist in developing, testing and monitoring analytical or ML models.
• Prepare dashboards and presentations; communicate findings to stakeholders.
