Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) invites a student with a strong interest in data analytics and AI to join as an analytics intern in Singapore. You will design GenAI use cases to identify fraud risk, build dashboards, and enhance data-driven decision making across risk and audit functions.

You will work with Python, SQL, and visualization tools (Qlik Sense/Tableau/Power BI) while gaining exposure to data marts, automation, and analytics tooling within a leading ASEAN bank.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in IT/CS/DS/IS/Statistics/Engineering/Accounting/Finance.
• Strong analytical thinking and business understanding.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Python for data analysis; SQL and data visualization experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs or AI-assisted tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement GenAI use cases to identify risk exposures and detect anomalies.
• Build in-house tools, automation, and data analytics to improve audit efficiency.
• Develop dashboards and analytical solutions for data-driven decision making.
• Support data marts and automation to enhance reporting and productivity.
• Conduct data analysis, testing, and validation of analytics solutions.
