Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore (Maju Drive) is seeking a Data Analyst to create reports and dashboards supporting policy analysis and decision making through data-driven approaches.

The role focuses on automating reports where possible, data cleaning, and producing insights from datasets across operations. Candidates should have 2+ years in statistical analysis and data visualization and be proficient in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Math/Analytics or closely related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in statistical analysis and data visualization.
• Proficiency in two or more of Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports and dashboards for volunteer management operations, board processes and monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with process owners to understand requirements and create routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Acquire data from primary/secondary sources and analyze results using statistical techniques.
• Perform data cleaning/wrangling/mining to uncover underlying trends.
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance guidelines.
• Apply descriptive and diagnostic statistics to derive insights (e.g., regression).
• Develop interactive visualisation tools/dashboards for decision making.
• Define data principles and fields to ensure a robust data architecture with filtering as needed.

Location : Maju Drive

Position :Data Analyst

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays : 8.00 am to5.30 pm
• Fridays : 8.00 am to 5.00pm
• Lunch : 1 hour

Salary Payment: $3,400 - $3,600 per month depending on qualification and relevant working experience.

Job Purpose

• To create reports and dashboards to support the unit's policy analysis and decision making through data-driven approaches
• To automate the reports and analyses where possible through tools or scripts
• To ensure data processing and cleaning / correction is done to ensure reports are accurate

Responsibilities

• To develop reports and / or dashboards based on data sets used across volunteer management operations, board processes and existing monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with business/process owners to understand requirements and develops routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards in line with these requirements
• Acquire data from primary/secondary data sources and analyse results using statistical techniques
• Perform data cleaning/wrangling/mining to uncover underlying trends
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance guidelines
• Focuses on descriptive and diagnostics statistical techniques to obtain insight e.g. regression
• Develop interactive visualisation tools/dashboards for decision making
• Define, formulate and manage data principles and fields, ensuring a robust data architecture with structures in place to filter data fields as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; or an Advanced Diploma in a data-related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in statistical analysis and data visualisation.
• Proficient in at least two of the following: Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
