Job summary

SATS Ltd. is seeking a Data Analyst to collaborate with business and technology teams to design and deliver data, analytics and AI solutions that support operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.

The role blends BI, data engineering, Python development, and applied AI with stakeholder engagement and solution delivery from concept to implementation. The candidate will translate business problems into scalable data solutions, build dashboards using Power BI, and drive improvements

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Technology, or a relevant discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications in BI, cloud, data engineering, analytics or AI would be an advantage.
• Experience in BI, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI Development or AI product-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, KPIs and analytics requirements.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of data, analytics and AI initiatives.
• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and insights for decision-making.
• Develop data visualization and storytelling to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Develop data processing, analytics and AI components using SQL and Python.
• Explore Generative AI and AI-enabled analytics use cases.
• Drive continuous improvement of BI and AI standards and processes.
• Stay updated on analytics, cloud and AI technologies and apply where useful.

Key Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Data Analyst will work closely with business and technology teams to design and deliver data, analytics, and AI solutions that support operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.

The role combines Business Intelligence, data engineering, Python development, and applied AI, with a strong focus on translating business problems into practical and scalable solutions.

The successful candidate will be hands-on technically while also comfortable engaging stakeholders, understanding operational needs, managing requirements, and driving solutions from concept through implementation and continuous enhancement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, KPIs and analytical requirements, and translate them into effective data, BI and AI solutions.
• Lead and own the end-to-end delivery of data, analytics and AI initiatives, encompassing requirements definition, solution design, development, implementation and continuous enhancement.
• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards, reports and analytical products, primarily using Power BI or equivalent modern BI tools, to support enterprise reporting, operational analysis and decision-making.
• Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop clear and intuitive data visualisation and storytelling to communicate complex information effectively to business stakeholders.
• Develop data processing, analytics, automation and AI-related components using SQL and Python.
• Explore and support the development of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, including LLM-powered applications, intelligent workflows and AI-enabled analytics use cases.
• Drive continuous improvement of BI, analytics, data and AI development standards, platforms and processes.
• Keep abreast of emerging developments in analytics, cloud and AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to business and operational challenges.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Technology, or a relevant discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications in BI, cloud, data engineering, analytics or AI would be an advantage.
• Relevant working experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI Development or AI Product-related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise dashboards and analytical solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other modern BI tools.
• Demonstrated experience using Python for data processing, analytics, automation or AI-related development.
• Experience working with data warehouses, databases, data pipelines and modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience delivering analytics solutions in complex enterprise environments and working across both business and technology teams.
• Experience managing stakeholder requirements and delivering multiple analytics initiatives or workstreams.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other major cloud platforms would be advantageous.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models, RAG, Agentic AI or AI product development would be advantageous.
