Job summary

SATS Ltd. invites applications for a Data Engineer intern to build and optimize data pipelines, leverage cloud technologies, and deliver data-driven insights.

You will work with SQL and Python, gaining hands-on experience in ETL, data integration, and analytics within a structured internship program. Based in Singapore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize Azure data services, and contribute to real-world data solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Python required.
• Experience with cloud data services and ETL concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure data services and Databricks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Support data integration from various sources into cloud-based data platforms.
• Work with SQL and Python to clean, transform, and analyse data.
• Participate in data platform and data management framework design and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Data Engineer:

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven interns with a passion for data engineering and analytics to join our team. This internship offers hands‑on experience in building and optimising data pipelines, working with cloud technologies, and contributing to real‑world data solutions that drive business insights.

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines.

• Work with SQL and Python to clean, transform, and analyse data.

• Implement data management, processing, and analytics tools on Databricks.
• Document processes and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the team.

Key Requirements

Skills, qualifications, experience:

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with Azure tools and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Function, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage).
• Understanding of database systems, ETL processes, and cloud web services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
