Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years professional dance teaching experience.
• Relevant dance qualification / certification (RAD, ISTD, CSTD, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in one or more dance styles: Ballet / Contemporary / Jazz / Hip Hop / K-Pop / Chinese Dance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate dance lessons following recognised syllabi or studio curriculum.
• Teach group and/or private classes across various age and skill levels.
• Prepare students for showcases, competitions, and graded examinations (where applicable).
• Create original choreography and select suitable music for performances.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain progress records.
• Communicate professionally and regularly with students and parents.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment at all times.
• Participate in studio events, rehearsals, and staff meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate dance lessons following recognised syllabi or studio curriculum
• Teach group and/or private classes across various age and skill levels
• Prepare students for showcases, competitions, and graded examinations (where applicable)
• Create original choreography and select suitable music for performances

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years professional dance teaching experience

• Fluent in English (class instruction); bilingual (English-Mandarin) is a strong advantage
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Patient, energetic, and genuinely passionate about teaching
• Available on weekday evenings and weekends as needed
• Eligibility to work in Singapore (Singaporean/PR, or valid work pass) Foreign applicants: A degree in dance/performing arts is typically required for Employment Pass eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Safe dance practice certification (NAFA/NAC course for MOE schools)
• Experience preparing students for international exam boards
• Choreography or competition coaching experience
• Social media / content creation skills
