Job summary

Fortinet Singapore invites applications for a Sales Engineer Intern role. This 6-month internship offers exposure to pre-sales security consulting, solution design, and customer engagement across networking and cloud contexts.

You will work with field teams to understand customer requirements, support demos and PoCs, and assist in tender documentation to deliver security solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of security concepts across network, endpoint and application domains.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs and related networking technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with hacking techniques, exploit simulations or penetration testing.
• Knowledge of blue teaming, security operations lifecycle and incident analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Curiosity and a proactive mindset to diagnose and fix issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers.
• Study customer requirements and design security solutions to meet them.
• Assist in proposal, demo, and presentation activities for solutions.
• Contribute to tender documents, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Support Proof of Concept activities for technical solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environment and use cases.
