Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer in Singapore to drive pre-sales activities for the Public Sector, delivering security design and implementation solutions to clients and partners.

You will engage in tender responses, demos, and POC activities, while collaborating with channels and distributors to ensure successful deployments across enterprise accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network or application security.
• Experience with large enterprise accounts, lab setups, and POCs.
• Strong networking/security solution knowledge (Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall, SD-WAN, Sandboxing, UEBA, app security).
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/Alibaba/Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of SDN/orchestration or multi-vendor deployment.
• Understanding of hacking techniques, exploit simulation or pentesting.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers.
• Analyze client requirements and propose security design/implementation solutions.
• Execute presales activities: proposals, demos, presentations, etc.
• Prepare tender documents, RFPs, RFIs, and POC demos.
• Provide professional services and training for channels and distributors.

You would act as the Systems Engineer for Public Sector vertical.

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Play an integral role in providing pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers
• Understudy customer requirements, environment and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients
• Effectively carry out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, demo, presentation, etc.)
• Actively participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs and POC demo
• Provide professional services and training for channels and distributors.

We Are Looking For:

• At least 5 years of experience in network security or application security
• Experience in handling big enterprise account, lab setup and proof-of-concept (POC)
• Exceptional skillset in networking/security solutions, such as Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall, SDWAN, Sandboxing, UEBA, application security, etc.
• Experience in cloud deployment, such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud, etc.
• Knowledge on SDN, orchestration or multi-vendor integrated deployment
• Knowledge on hacking technique, exploit simulation or penetration test
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
