Job summary

Fortinet in Singapore is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Public Sector vertical, delivering pre-sales technical guidance, security design, and proof-of-concept deployments to enterprise clients.

You will work with partners and customers on tender responses, POCs, and professional services, translating complex networking and security requirements into practical, scalable Fortinet solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in network security or application security.
• Experience handling large enterprise accounts, lab setups, and proof-of-concept (POC).
• Strong skillset in networking and security solutions (Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall, SD-WAN, Sandboxing, UEBA, application security).
• Experience in cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of SDN, orchestration or multi-vendor integrated deployment.
• Knowledge of hacking techniques, exploit simulation or penetration testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers.
• Understudy customer requirements and propose security solution designs and implementations.
• Carry out presales activities (proposals, demos, presentations).
• Prepare tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs and POC demos.
• Provide professional services and training for channels and distributors.
