Job summary

Peoplebank Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to provide Level 2 operational support for our network and security infrastructure in Singapore. You will handle incidents, firewall and proxy management, vulnerability remediation, and support VPN/LAN/WAN environments.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Arista, Checkpoint, Infoblox and scripting in Python, Bash or Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems Analysis (or equivalent).
• Experience providing Level 2 operational support for network security infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, and proxy systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for network security infrastructure.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change management.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
• Maintain network security documentation and SOPs.
• Support security implementations across firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS, and proxy systems.
• Administer DNS/DHCP and remote access tools.
• Contribute to knowledge management and security awareness efforts.
• Support configuration and asset tracking (e.g., CMDB).

• Maintain network security documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support security implementations across firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS, and proxy systems.
• Administer DNS/DHCP and remote access tools.
• Contribute to knowledge management and security awareness efforts.
• Support configuration and asset tracking (e.g., CMDB).

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of network topology and security protocols.

Hands-on experience with technologies such as:

• Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Arista, Checkpoint, Infoblox, Ivanti
• Proxy & remote access tools
• Python, Bash, Ansible ( ing)
• Wireshark, NetFlow (network analysis tools)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
