Job summary

Epergne Solutions is seeking a Network Security Engineer (L2) to support and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments. The role focuses on cybersecurity operations, incident handling, firewall and proxy administration, VPN and remote access support, vulnerability remediation, and network security hardening.

Key responsibilities include providing Level 2 operational support, incident management, vulnerability remediation, firewall/VPN

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure support.
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN/VPN networking and network security concepts (encryption, certificates, authentication protocols).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network and security technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and support operational activities in a shift and on-call environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operational support for network and security infrastructure.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and security hardening of network devices.
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, proxies, and related security platforms.
• Support LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity and troubleshoot network security issues.
• Maintain security documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Assist with network security projects, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance-related activities.
• Monitor and maintain network security assets and configuration records.
• Provide technical guidance to junior support team members and participate in security awareness initiatives.
• Respond to security incidents and support root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
