Job summary

GovTech Singapore is pioneering Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives and public sector digital transformation. This role focuses on implementing security controls, threat modelling, and penetration testing to strengthen our cyber defenses across platforms and cloud environments.

You will contribute to secure software development, review designs for security, and evaluate emerging security tools. Flexible, inclusive work culture supports ongoing learning and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity and risk-based security.
• Practical experience in threat modelling, vulnerability assessment, or penetration testing.
• Ability to write or review secure, clear, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with security analysis tools and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and validate security controls using a risk-based approach.
• Conduct threat modelling to identify gaps, threats, and mitigations.
• Perform guided penetration testing and validate vulnerabilities.
• Develop proofs of concept or security features across components.
• Review code and designs for security and maintainability.
• Use security analysis tools and remediate findings.
