Job summary

Helius Technologies is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to monitor security events, health metrics, and logs around the clock. The role includes rotating shifts to ensure continuous coverage and SOP-based incident response, remediation, and containment.

You will monitor batch jobs and log pipelines, perform health checks, and support security tool deployments and post-deployment verifications. Strong communication is essential for cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Security Operations, Cybersecurity Support, IT Operations or related technical support.
• Familiar with security products, monitoring tools, network devices, and infrastructure monitoring systems.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, security alerts, incident handling, log analysis and threat detection.
• Experience following SOPs for incident handling, troubleshooting, escalation and recovery.
• Strong attention to detail and discipline in maintaining incident records and docs.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with incident response, engineering and infra teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous 24x7x365 monitoring of security events, application health and logs to identify threats, anomalies and issues.

• Execute SOP-based incident response, remediation and containment activities for threats and incidents.
• Monitor automated security batch jobs, log pipelines and monitoring systems; escalate complex issues.
• Conduct routine production health checks and security posture assessments to ensure system integrity.
• Support security-related production changes, deployments and post-deployment verification.
• Perform shift handovers communicating ongoing incidents and updates to incoming teams.
• Maintain documentation of security incidents, investigations and daily tasks.

• Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure uninterrupted security monitoring and operational coverage.

• Execute standard operating procedure (SOP)-based incident response, remediation, and containment activities to address identified security threats and operational incidents.

• Monitor automated security batch jobs, log processing pipelines, and security monitoring systems, troubleshooting common failures and escalating complex issues to the relevant teams.

• Conduct routine production health checks and security posture assessments to ensure system integrity, availability, and operational stability.

• Support security-related production changes, deployment of security tools, patches, and updates, and post-deployment verification activities.

• Perform shift handovers, ensuring timely communication of ongoing incidents, unresolved issues, investigation findings, and operational updates to incoming teams.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of security incidents, investigations, remediation activities, and daily operational tasks.
  

Job Requirements
