Job summary

DBS Bank’s Security Operations Center is seeking a vigilant Security Operations Analyst to monitor global cybersecurity events, assess risks, and respond to security incidents across the Group. The role involves working with various security tools, performing vulnerability assessments, and creating runbooks and reports to support governance and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and incident management.
• Banking industry experience preferred.
• Familiar with security products and network devices.
• UNIX, AIX, Linux, Windows administration knowledge.
• Understanding TCP/IP, DNS, web and wireless security architectures.
• Knowledge of encryption methods (2FA, DES/AES/RSA, SSL/TLS, IPSec).
• Ability to read packet level data and interpret security events.

Responsibilities

• Monitor developing cybersecurity events globally and escalate to L2 as needed.
• Perform monitoring and risk assessment on security tools and devices.
• Follow predefined actions to handle security alerts and escalate when appropriate.
• Execute daily tasks and lead small security projects.
• Maintain operational reports and documentation for KPIs and metrics.
• Assist vulnerability assessments and threat management processes.
• Update threat intel knowledge base with feeds subscribed by Group.
• Support security incident response across locations and environments.
• Collaborate with Team Lead to improve SOC methodology and runbooks.
