Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cybersecurity projects involving AI/ML, data analytics, software engineering, and related technologies. You will coordinate across development teams, data scientists, threat researchers, and vendors to translate business needs into technical scopes and deliverables.

Job description

• Interface with customers and stakeholders to understand their business, operational and cybersecurity needs, and facilitate effective engagement to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams comprising software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, threat researchers and cybersecurity specialists to understand requirements, priorities and constraints, and translate them into technical scopes of work and project plans.
• Lead the planning, delivery and implementation of cybersecurity projects involving AI/ML, data analytics, software engineering and related technologies.
• Coordinate project activities across the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation and continuous service improvement.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including proposals, technical specifications, business cases, test plans, progress reports and other project artefacts.
• Manage project baselines covering scope, schedule, budget, resources and quality, and ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints, working with stakeholders to develop and execute appropriate mitigation plans.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, key milestones, challenges, risks and issues.
• Manage relationships and expectations across different levels of stakeholders, including customers, management, technical teams and external vendors.
• Facilitate collaboration between cybersecurity, AI/ML, data and software engineering teams to translate complex cyber problems into practical and deployable solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in managing software engineering, data, AI/ML or cybersecurity projects with experience across the project lifecycle from planning, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Technical background with practical understanding of AI/ML, data analytics and engineering, cybersecurity, software development, and modern data processing and application platforms.
• Experience working with both internal (development team) and external parties (Customers, vendors and etc)
• Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Good presentation, coordination and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills /Qualities

• Experience in Cyber Security, AI/ML, data analytics, system integrator or software development industry
• Experience in delivering enterprise-scale projects and translating complex cybersecurity challenges into practical AI and analytics solutions
• Experience in following project management methodologies and tools: Waterfall, Scrum (Agile), Jira, Gitlab and etc
• Experience in product management, service delivery and the delivery of AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently including projects involving multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Relevant Cyber security certification e.g. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) etc
• Hands-on experience in data analytics, AI/ML engineering, software engineering, and modern web application development
