Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking aSenior AI Security leader to define and drive the security strategy for AI/ML systems with governance aligned to NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and industry best practices.

The role requires 7–10 years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in AI/ML security, with hands-on experience securing production AI pipelines. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and lead security awareness across high-risk functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in AI/ML security.
• Hands-on with production AI systems including Generative AI, agentic AI, or ML pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS.
• CISSP, CISM or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication to present risks to leadership.

Job description

Develop AI Security Strategy & Governance

• Define and drive the AI Security strategy aligned with the organization's risk framework.
• Develop secure-by-design architecture standards for AI/ML systems, including Generative AI, agentic AI, ML models, and third-party AI solutions.
• Establish AI security governance and controls aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, IMDA, MAS, and the EU AI Act.
• Serve as the AI Security subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and Board reporting.
• Lead AI security awareness initiatives for high-risk business functions.
• Manage AI security vendors, MSSPs, red-team providers, and related budgets.
• Partner with AI Assurance to remediate audit findings and maintain oversight of the AI security posture.

Implement AI Security Controls

• Design and implement security controls for AI agents, copilots, and automation platforms.
• Implement protections such as prompt injection prevention, output filtering, sandboxing, tool restrictions, and credential controls.
• Integrate AI security monitoring into SIEM and SOC operations.
• Develop incident response playbooks for AI-related threats, including deepfake BEC, model abuse, agent compromise, and AI data exfiltration.
• Lead AI red-teaming and adversarial testing, and drive remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Implement controls to defend against AI-enabled cyber threats such as AI phishing and synthetic identity fraud.

Manage AI Security Operations

• Monitor AI systems and ensure security controls remain effective.
• Work with the SOC to detect, respond to, and remediate AI security incidents.
• Coordinate AI security operations across IT, Risk, Operations, and external vendors.
• Maintain AI security tools and support continuous improvement of security controls.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in AI/ML Security or MLSecOps.
• Hands-on experience securing production AI systems, including Generative AI, agentic AI, or ML pipelines.
• Strong understanding of NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, and MITRE ATLAS.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present AI security risks to senior leadership.
