Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (S)Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Trade Compliance professional to support global import/export operations and ensure full compliance with international trade regulations. This role helps enable cross-border activities while minimizing regulatory risks across APAC, EMEA, LATAM.

You will classify products under HTS and ECCN codes, maintain export control policies, participate in internal audits, and act as the main contact for government inquiries.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and traffic procedures.
• Familiarity with HTS classification and ECCN determination.
• Experience working across APAC, EMEA, or LATAM regions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations including EAR.
• Classify products and technologies under HTS and ECCN codes.
• Support and maintain export control policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal audits for import/export compliance.
• Act as a key point of contact for government inquiries related to trade.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure shipment compliance.
• Manage shipment-related activities including freight quotations and tracking when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in trade compliance processes and tools.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Classify products and technologies under HTS and ECCN codes
• Support and maintain export control policies and procedures
• Participate in internal audits for import/export compliance
• Act as a key point of contact for government inquiries related to trade
• Support development and enhancement of foreign licensing programs
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure shipment compliance
• Manage shipment-related activities including freight quotations and tracking when needed
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in trade compliance processes and tools
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
