Job summary

Molex Singapore is seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative to be the main contact for order-fulfillment for assigned accounts. You will respond to inquiries, coordinate post-order activities, and ensure high standards of service delivery.

You will join the Global Sales & Marketing Division and collaborate with Sales Engineers, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Product Managers, and other Molex entities. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in electronics industry.
• Good PC literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end order processing in SAP with accurate follow-up.
• Coordinate order changes, expedites, and adjustments for customers.
• Monitor backlog and inform customers about schedule changes.
• Analyze forecast vs. actual orders for scheduling and VMI coordination.
• Handle shipping activities including premium freight and drops-hips, freight cost agreements.
• Address customer complaints using SAP and 8D reports.
• Initiate SAP master data maintenance (customer/material).
• Review customer scorecards and coordinate actions with Sales.
• Provide monthly reports and support customer visits.
• Adhere to Molex quality systems and company policies.

Your Job

We are looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Customer Service Representative to be the main point of contact for all order‑fulfillment activities for assigned customer accounts. In this role, you will respond promptly to customer enquiries, coordinate post‑order activities, and ensure high standards of service delivery.

Our Team

You will join the Global Sales & Marketing Division, working closely with Sales Engineers, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Product Managers, and multiple Molex entities. Externally, you will collaborate with customers, freight forwarders, and warehouse providers.

What You Will Do

• Manage end‑to‑end order processing in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely follow‑up on missing or incorrect information.
• Coordinate customer requests related to order changes, including expedites, pull‑in/push‑out, and order adjustments.
• Monitor order backlog and initiate proactive actions to meet customer requested dates, informing customers on schedule changes.
• Analyse forecast vs. actual orders for scheduling agreements and support VMI customer coordination and billing reconciliation.
• Manage shipping activities including special arrangements, premium freight, drop‑ships, and freight cost agreements.
• Handle customer complaints using SAP, coordinating corrective actions through 8D reports, credit notes, and related documentation.
• Process distribution scrap requests in accordance with contractual and company guidelines.
• Initiate SAP Master Data maintenance (customer master, CMIR, material master).
• Review customer scorecards and coordinate required actions with Sales.
• Provide monthly reporting updates and support customer visits with relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to Molex quality, ISO, EH&S, and TQM systems, following all company processes and policies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Diploma or higher with relevant Customer Service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the electronics industry.
• Good PC literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin to better serve our Mandarin‑speaking customers and collaborate with counterparts.
