Responsibilities

• In charge of import/export documentation and processing
• Manage shipping documentation (import, L/C, Bill of Lading)
• Provide customer support for shipments, including sending pre-alerts and invoicing
• Offer after-sales support and follow up with clients until the entire transaction is completed
• Handle customer enquiries or complaints
• Liaise with agents and shipping companies on cargo status

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join their operations team. In this role, you will take charge of import/export documentation, coordinate with agents, shipping lines, and warehouses, and provide end-to-end customer support. This position is ideal for a responsible team player with logistics or freight forwarding experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• In charge of import/export documentation and processing
• Manage shipping documentation (import, L/C, Bill of Lading)
• Provide customer support for shipments, including sending pre-alerts and invoicing
• Offer after-sales support and follow up with clients until the entire transaction is completed
• Handle customer enquiries or complaints
• Send all necessary information and documentation to clients, agents, shipping companies, forwarders, and warehouses accurately and on time
• Liaise with agents and shipping companies on cargo status
• Knowledge of LCL cargo consolidation
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
