Job summary

Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a capable leader to head the Transportation Department's customer service team. You will manage end-to-end customer service operations and ensure all job requirements are met, coordinating with Operations and third parties to keep shipments on track.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics or related field, plus 5 years in logistics and proven team leadership. SAP and MS Office skills are essential for daily reporting and billing tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business or related field.
• 5 years of experience in third party logistics or in any supply chain operations.
• Experienced in leading a team of customer service staff.
• Proficiency in SAP & Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of customer service staff in the Transportation Department.
• Attend to major customer enquiries and liaise with customers to ensure all job requirements of orders are captured.
• Perform trucking job creation when necessary.
• Monitor and liaise with Operations Team on execution of jobs received.
• Monitor job and provide updates for shipment, including container details in system.
• Advise customers on delivery schedule and inventory.
• Maintain inventory reports and monthly closing of accounts.
• Oversee progress of job orders and shipments of team.
• Maintain business relationships with customers and manage customer relations at a higher level.
• Coordinate with third parties regarding job orders.
• Assist in accounts receivable: billing, accruals, debit/credit notes, invoices.
