Job summary

A recruiting agency in Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Executive with freight forwarding experience. The role involves managing customer inquiries, arranging shipments, and coordinating with various departments. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, a GCE 'O' Level or higher, and proficiency in MS Office. Bilingual candidates who can converse in both English and Mandarin are preferred. This position offers competitive compensation including a performance bonus.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in freight forwarding (Air/Sea freight) is a must.
  • Must speak English and Mandarin.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to customer’s inquiries and booking of shipments.
  • Arrange for space bookings and monitoring.
  • Liaise with Import/Export Department for smooth execution.
  • Prepare pre-alerts for shipments.
  • Monitor arriving and uplift details and inform customers.
  • Ensure compliance with special requests.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with customers.

  • Position : Customer Service Executive (MUST HAVE FREIGHT FORWARDING EXPERIENCE) -ALL WELCOME
  • Location : Tampines Industrial Crescent
  • Working hours : 5 working days, Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30
  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Basic up to $4000+ Performance Bonus
  • Duration : Perm
  • Industry : Freight Forwarding Industry
Main Responsibilities
  • Attending to Customer’s enquiries and booking of shipments
  • Arrange for space bookings and monitoring
  • Liaise closely with Import/Export Department for smooth execution for all jobs
  • Preparation of all pre-alerts to all respective stations prior to arrival and departure of shipping
  • Checking of arriving and uplift details each morning and also keep all Customers informed of the acquired information
  • To check and ensure customers special request/handling is duly complied
  • Deal with the respective parties effectively & efficiently, using a diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Good fillings systems and proper housekeeping
  • Build and improve good working relationships with the internal and external customers
Requirements
  • 2 year experience in freight forwarding (Air/Sea freight) Is a Must
  • GCE’O’ Level & above
  • Proficient in MS office applications
  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking clients
