Job summary

Cariflex PTE Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Export/Import Coordinator to manage full-set export shipping documents, logistics coordination, and follow-up activities.

The role requires 3–4 years of experience with export documents, LC shipments, and SAP (SD) proficiency, plus strong Excel skills and a proactive, detail-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O' level and above.
• 3–4 years of experience in preparing full set of export shipping documents.
• 1–2 years of experience in handling LC shipments.
• Proficient in SAP (SD) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out import and export activities including preparation and issuance of shipping documents and logistics coordination.
• Perform order processing and analysis per internal rules on shipment planning and inventory control.
• Support customers with product availability, shipment schedules, and pricing information.
• Create sales orders, outbound deliveries, shipments and invoices in SAP and check for tax/price errors.
• Receive and register customer complaints and forward to relevant departments.
• Keep SAP up to date with shipping/arrival dates via reports.
• Process department expenses related to logistics providers like couriers and transport companies.
• Provide logistical support such as receipt of materials and submission of invoices to finance.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and document work processes.

Job description

• Carry out import and export activities which include but not limited to preparation and issuance of shipping documentations, logistics coordination and arrangement as well as carry out necessary follow-up
• Perform order processing and analysis in accordance with company's internal rules on shipment planning and inventory control
• Support customers in terms of providing information related to products availability, shipment schedule, price and other sales processing information
• Create sales orders, outbound delivery, shipment and invoices in SAP. Check and ensure there are no tax errors and other sales orders errors such as incorrect price, products, etc
• Receive and register customer complaints and forward them to the relevant departments
• Ensure SAP is up to date with the latest order information such as shipping, arrival dates, etc., which can be monitored through reports generated by SAP
• Timely process and check the department expenses related to logistics service providers such as couriers, dispatchers, terminals, transport companies, etc
• Provide necessary logistical support such as receipt of material and service notes, entry of SAP stock and submission of invoices to the finance department
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and identify potential improvement in processes and activities
• Ensure proper documentation of work processes

Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in handling LC shipments
• Proficient in SAP (SD module) and Microsoft Excel
