Gateway Search Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Customs Specialist to support international trade, export documentation, customs clearance and logistics coordination within a fast-paced team.

The role targets candidates with 1–3 years in customs or export operations, familiarity with Singapore Customs and HS codes, and experience with SAP or ERP systems. You will ensure compliant processes and proactive shipment management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in customs, export documentation, logistics or international trade.
• Familiarity with Singapore Customs requirements, HS Codes and trade compliance is preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/logistics systems is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, customs declarations and supporting documents.
• Coordinate export customs clearance and ensure compliance with Singapore Customs requirements.
• Verify shipment documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate export declarations, customs clearance and delivery arrangements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, factories and internal stakeholders.
• Track shipments and proactively follow up on delays, exceptions and documentation issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment, customs and customer information in internal systems.
• Support document uploading, data entry and system-related logistics activities.
• Ensure customs and shipment data is accurate, complete and up to date.
• Follow company trade compliance policies and Singapore customs regulations.
• Support customs audits, documentation reviews and compliance checks.
• Identify opportunities to improve customs, documentation and logistics processes.

We’re Hiring: Customs Specialist | Singapore

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Specialist to join their Singapore operations and support international trade, export documentation, customs clearance and logistics coordination.

What You’ll Be Doing

Export Documentation & Customs Clearance

• Prepare and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, customs declarations and supporting documents.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in customs, export documentation, logistics or international trade.
• Familiarity with Singapore Customs requirements, HS Codes and trade compliance is preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/logistics systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of ownership and responsibility.
• Comfortable managing multiple shipments and priorities within tight deadlines.
