Leadership in curriculum development also entails working with the relevant leaders within the teaching and planning teams to ensure that the curriculum is enacted successfully to create powerful student learning experiences.

Curriculum segment heads are expected to play a key leadership role in ensuring the growth of the company. Leadership and participation in company initiatives that drive the success of the academic programmes are also essential elements of the work.

  • planning, writing, editing and preparing for print or online delivery, all lesson materials and teacher guides, including conducting research, sourcing for materials and designing engaging learning activities;
  • providing professional development sharing and briefings as part of curriculum support to help teachers use the curriculum materials effectively;
  • ensuring the quality of the curriculum through developing and monitoring quality assurance processes, which includes vetting of materials across segments, and evaluating the success of curriculum-led initiatives.
  • To ensure that the curriculum serves the purposes of TLL’s classroom and teaching contexts, the scope of work may also include teaching responsibilities.
Necessary qualifications and attributes:
  • Relevant degree either in education or subject.
  • Hands-on experience in education, in a leadership and/or curriculum capacity with good working knowledge of the Singapore education context, including the national syllabus, and familiarity with current education approaches.
