Job summary

Gunvor Group in Singapore is seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide 2nd-level support for front-office and post-trade users of trading systems, ensuring incidents are logged, resolved, and documented within SLA.

You will work as a liaison between business users and IT, gather requirements for CTRM/ETRM enhancements, develop clear specifications, and contribute to process improvements while delivering high quality service in a fast-paced, multilingual environment.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience of minimum 4 years in an application support/business analysis function role.
2-4 years’ experience minimum in Commodity Trading environment.
Experience on CTRM/ETRM software (physical & financial/paper) and trade life cycle.
Excellent customer service to front office and post-trade departments.
Strong knowledge of trading risk concepts (position, P&L, MTM).
Knowledge of SQL and ability to create reports.
Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Provide direct 2nd level support to local users within SLA using Freshservice, email, calls.
Log, respond to, escalate, and close incidents with thorough documentation.
Support Front Office and post-trade users with data extraction and report generation.
Collaborate with IT to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.
As a liaison, translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development.
