Job summary

Achieve Group in Singapore seeks an experienced ETRM/trading systems support professional to join the team and ensure stable operations across the trading lifecycle.

You will troubleshoot issues, support data integrity, and collaborate with IT and vendors on incidents, upgrades, and testing. Strong communication with business users and technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in trading or finance IT.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for the ETRM/trading platform to ensure stable operations.
• Troubleshoot trade booking, system, interface, and data issues raised by users across Trading, Risk, Operations and Finance.
• Support accurate trade capture and ensure data integrity across the trading lifecycle.
• Monitor daily batch processes, system jobs, interfaces, and reconciliations to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain and support market data feeds, price curves, reference data, and system configurations where required.
• Assist with investigation of P&L, risk, settlement, and reporting-related discrepancies linked to system data.
• Liaise with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents, raise issues, and coordinate fixes.
• Support system enhancements, configuration changes, upgrades, and testing activities including UAT.
• Gather user requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trading workflows and controls.
• Prepare documentation including issue logs, process notes, and test scenarios where required.

We are working with a well-established trading firm in Singapore that is looking to strengthen its trading systems / ETRM support function. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with hands-on trading systems exposure who are keen to build long-term expertise supporting front-to-back commodity trading operations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline with approximately 4-5 years relevant experience
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, pricing, market data, risk, P&L, settlements, and reporting
• Experience supporting users in a fast-paced trading environment with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Exposure to system enhancement projects, testing, or implementation work would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business users and technical stakeholders effectively
