Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive coordinator to drive crisis preparedness and resilience initiatives for religious organisations in Singapore. The role focuses on programme planning, stakeholder engagement and seamless delivery from inception to reporting.

You will manage partnerships with religious groups, security agencies and vendors, coordinating training and engagement activities, and supporting national security and social cohesion efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience working with community groups; NGO, VWO, or government agency experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with good English; mother tongue languages are an advantage.
  • Strong data, financial and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive planning, implementation and continuous improvement of the programme to strengthen crisis preparedness of religious organisations in Singapore.
  • Build and manage partnerships with religious organisations, security agencies, community partners, vendors and stakeholders to support effective programme delivery and sector preparedness.
  • Oversee development, coordination and delivery of training, capability-building and engagement initiatives, including emergency response and contingency planning.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong programme coordination and stakeholder engagement skills to drive crisis preparedness, capability-building and resilience initiatives.

ASAP; 2 year contract with bonuses (up to 3 months in 2 years)

Subject to renewal

Working Location: Central

Mon - Fri, office hours *Subject to operational needs*

Up to $4,300 per month

What to expect:
  • Support and drive the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of the programme to strengthen the crisis preparedness of religious organisations in Singapore.
  • Build and manage partnerships with religious organisations, security agencies, community partners, vendors and other stakeholders to support effective programme delivery and sector preparedness.
  • Oversee the development, coordination and delivery of training, capability-building and engagement initiatives, including emergency response, contingency planning and psychological resilience.
  • Manage programme operations, communications and performance tracking, including publicity, stakeholder engagement, microsite content, databases, registrations, training statistics, feedback analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to broader national security, resilience and social cohesion objectives by strengthening the preparedness, coordination and crisis response capabilities of the religious sector.
Who we are looking for:
  • Singaporeans only.
  • Possesses minimum a Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience working with community groups; experience with NGOs, VWOs or government agencies is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with good spoken and written English; proficiency in mother tongue languages/dialects is an advantage.
  • Strong data, financial and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Positive, adaptable and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
  • Passionate about building and strengthening community relationships and comfortable working with stakeholders and volunteers.
