Job summary

The Public Service Division in Singapore seeks an officer to join a team that collaborates with government and private organisations to meet national interests. You will formulate contingency plans to mitigate peacetime crises and emerging risks from climate change and new energy sources, and review our MPA Crisis Management framework.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in developing emergency plans and exercise planning.
• Past experience in shipping, logistics or supply chain is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Formulate contingency plans to mitigate peacetime crises and emerging risks from climate change and new energy sources.
• Review the MPA Crisis Management framework and conduct regular crisis management exercises to validate WoG ops readiness.
• Support EP systems’ capability development, knowledge management, operational readiness, and training and exercises planning and evaluation.
