Job summary

BP is seeking a Training and Logistics Manager to provide leadership for bpMS sea staff training and crewing. The role encompasses recruitment, development, employee relations, and compliance with STCW prerequisites.

You will collaborate with the crewing team, engage sea staff through ship visits, and ensure officers meet mandatory training and medical requirements. You will manage costs and budgets across Training, Logistics, and development of sea-going officers, while co-chairing the Training

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in maritime/training preferred.
• Experience in marine training requirements and crew management.
• Experience in crewing offices or maritime operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage training and logistics for bpMS sea staff and cadets, including recruitment and development.
• Lead the Training Working Group and ensure training meets standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee crewing activities for safe joining/departure of officers and scheduling training courses.
• Monitor third-party training/medical providers and review quarterly KPIs with bpMS.
• Deliver Learning and Development strategy and manage budgets for Training, Logistics, and officer development.
