Job summary

bp is seeking a seasoned Training and Logistics Manager to lead the bpMS sea staff training and logistics team. You will drive development, recruitment and compliance with STCW prerequisites, while engaging with crewing teams and ship visits to maintain rapport with sea staff.

Role involves managing third-party providers, budgeting, and delivering the Learning and Development strategy for bpMS sea staff and cadets across Singapore operations.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience preferred, but high performance matters most.
• Experience in marine industry training requirements.
• Experience in a crewing office or other maritime operations.
• Proven experience in managing people.
• Vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training and logistics management for bpMS sea staff and line management of the logistics team.
• Lead recruitment, training and development initiatives for fleet personnel and cadets.
• Manage cost and budget for Training, Logistics, and development of sea-going officers.
• Co-chair the Training Working Group and liaise with TWG/bpS SMEs and Crewing Leads.
