Job summary

GovTech Consulting seeks a hands-on prototype developer to push AI-native design across government projects. You will turn hypotheses into prototypes, work with Claude Code and Codex, and iterate rapidly with engineers and designers to frame practical solutions.

Join a team that explores new workflows and tools, building fast, testable artifacts that inform government services for agencies and the people they serve. A portfolio of interactive prototypes is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years building interactive prototypes, creative tech, or interactive product work
• Hands-on with agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Codex, and you've used them to build real, working things
• Enough technical understanding to work smartly with engineers and others who go deeper, without needing to own the backend yourself
• Strong hands-on skills, comfortable moving from rough to refined and knowing which a piece of work calls for
• A portfolio of things you've made, from quick experiments to tested prototypes

GovTech Consulting works directly with government agencies to modernise services and build lasting capability. This role is about prototyping, and about pushing how far we can take design. Working AI-native, you'd work on projects across the government and turn hypotheses into prototypes the team can test and learn from, while helping us rethink how we work: our workflows, our tools, and what's possible when we build new tools of

our own.
