Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking a Sous Chef for METT Singapore to support the Director of Culinary and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. You will ensure food preparation and presentation align with brand standards and company requirements, while supervising kitchen staff and maintaining product quality.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years as Sous Chef in similar concepts, strong English communication, and proven management experience, with a solid understanding of Food Safety,

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as Sous Chef in similar concepts.
• Prior management experience in a similar kitchen environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and Personal Hygiene basics.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen.
• Observes compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as governmental laws and regulations.
• Ensures accuracy and quality of received food products and other supplies as required for daily operations.
• Inspects products quality during and after preparation, and makes adjustments as required.
• Meets customer requirements in terms of special requests and dietary needs.
• Collaborates with Head Chef regarding special requirements, VIPs, functions, etc.
