Job summary

RISING ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an interior designer to translate client needs into detailed concepts, space plans, and compelling 2D/3D presentations.

You will prepare quotations, select materials, and coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers throughout the renovation journey. The role requires independent work on multiple projects, strong drawing interpretation skills, and familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in interior design, architecture or related field.
• Experience in interior design/renovation preferred.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Enscape or other design software.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of renovation materials and construction processes is advantageous.
• Singapore Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand renovation needs, preferences and budget.
• Prepare interior design concepts, space planning and layout drawings.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D drawings and design presentations.
• Prepare renovation quotations and material selections.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and site workers.
• Conduct site measurements and site inspections.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work aligns with the approved design.
• Handle project follow-up from design stage to completion.
• Any other duties related to interior design and renovation projects.
