Job summary

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is seeking Singaporeans to work in the Crisis Management Centre (CMC) for consular assistance. Responsibilities include responding to calls and emails from Singaporeans in distress, ensuring smooth functioning of the MFA CRC, and monitoring world events.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, planning, and administrative skills. Shift work, including overnight and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in similar capacity with supervisory functions in managing rostered teams and members of the public is preferred.
• Able to work independently and remain calm, patient, and polite when responding to members of the public in distress.

Responsibilities

• Respond to consular calls and emails from Singaporeans and their families.
• Ensure requests from the public are properly lodged for records and follow-up.
• Maintain the smooth functioning of the MFA CRC and its transformation to a Crisis Management Centre.
