Job summary

NatSteel Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a technically skilled maintenance professional in Singapore to troubleshoot, repair and maintain heavy industry equipment. You will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, install and commission machinery, and ensure strict safety adherence, including LOTO procedures.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, welding/gas cutting capabilities, and bilingual English/Chinese communication for daily reports with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or any engineering-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in heavy industries.
• Proficiency in welding and gas cutting.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of PLCs and electrical components.
• Exposure to installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance, including WSH regulations and LOTO procedures.
• Bilingual English and Chinese (written and spoken) for reporting and liaising.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and rostered schedules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machineries.
• Conduct maintenance activities Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform basic minor mechanical related repair works.
• Carry out installation and commissioning activities.
• Report to immediate superior on the maintenance update.
• Conduct evaluation on site equipment and machineries related to mechanical electrical inspection.
• Perform Inventory and parts management.
• Perform maintenance and inspection activities involving high-altitude / work-at-height operation.
• Perform task related to maintenance as assigned.
