Job description
Key Highlights:
  • Working Hours: Structured working hours with 2*24-hour shifts per month to manage a mental health support hotline (shifts may fall on weekdays or weekends). Training provided during the first 2 months with no hotline duty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide face-to-face counselling services to individuals dealing with mental health challenges, offering support in navigating personal and emotional difficulties.
  • Consult and advise team leaders and supervisors on best practices for managing the mental well-being of individuals within their teams.
  • Collaborate with various professionals, such as medical officers, psychologists, and psychiatrists, to enhance the mental health and well-being of clients.
  • Educate and empower individuals at all levels by imparting essential knowledge and skills related to mental healthcare.
  • Duty Requirements: Perform 2*24-hour shifts per month to manage a mental health support hotline (8AM to 8AM), which may occur on weekdays or weekends.
Key Requirements:
  • Master of Counselling with min 1 year of work experience (excluding volunteer work), or
  • Degree (min 3-4 years of work experience, excluding volunteer work).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work is advantageous.
  • Professional Membership: Preferably a member of the Singapore Association of Social Workers, Singapore Association for Counselling, Singapore Psychological Society, or a recognized professional association.
