Job summary

Premier Hytemp PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Costing & Manufacturing Engineer to estimate quotes and manage follow-up to win orders.

You will create job routings aligned with the quoted scope and bill of materials, while liaising with customers and vendors to ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on costing jobs, processing orders from quotation through delivery, and maintaining margins.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Good understanding of precision machining processes.
• Well versed with manufacturing processes and material specs common to Oil & Gas industry.
• Excellent spreadsheet skills with basic ERP knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas machining or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform costing of jobs.
• Submit quotes and act as primary customer contact for clarifications and PO.
• Handle order processing from quotation to delivery.
• Create manufacturing process routings and job completion in ERP.
• Liaise with customers and vendors on order requirements.
• Responsible for assigned customers' sales revenue and margin targets.
• Coordinate with operations on high-profile sales order manufacturing plans.

COSTING & MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

This position is responsible for estimation of quotes and close follow up on enquirees to win order. The manufacturing & estimation engineer is repsonsible to create job routings for confirmed orders in line with the quoted scope and customer bill of meterials. This is a fast paced customer facing position and reports to the Lead Sales Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform costing of jobs
• Responsible for submission of quotes and customer's point of contact for clarifications as well as purchase order
• Perform order processing from quotation to delivery
• Create manufacturing process routings and job completion in ERP system
• Liaise with customers and vendors on order requirements
• Responsible for assigned customers' sales revenue and margin targets
• Liaise with operations team on high profile sales order manufacturing plan

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in mechanical engineering / manufacturing engineering
• Good understanding of precision machining processes
• Well versed with manufacturing process & good understanding of material specifications common to Oil & Gas industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven individual with a positive learning attitude.
• Excellent spreadsheet skills with basic knowledge in ERP systems
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas machining or similar Industry.
