Job summary

LOSHI PROJECTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Cost Engineer/Project Controller to lead cost management and control activities, develop and monitor project budgets, review variances, and approve change orders on complex initiatives.

You will supervise a team of cost engineers, mentor analysts, forecast financial performance, collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years in cost engineering or project controls, with supervisory experience preferred.

• Cost Management & Control: Developing policies, monitoring budgets, and managing change orders.
• Cost Estimation & Forecasting: Reviewing estimates, forecasting performance, and evaluating risks.
• Team Leadership: Supervising and mentoring cost engineers and analysts.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborating to develop budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Reporting & Compliance: Preparing reports and ensuring policy compliance.
• Vendor/Supplier Management: Evaluating quotations and negotiating terms.

Cost Management & Control: Developing and implementing cost control policies, monitoring project budgets, performing variance analysis, and managing change orders.

Cost Estimation & Forecasting: Reviewing and approving cost estimates, conducting forecasting to track financial performance, and evaluating project risks.

Team Leadership: Supervising, training, and mentoring a team of cost engineers and analysts to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.

Strategic Planning: Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop budgets, analyze costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.

Reporting & Compliance: Preparing financial reports, maintaining cost databases, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Vendor/Supplier Management: Collaborating with procurement teams to evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate favorable terms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with proficiency in cost software and MS Office/Project.

Education: Master's degree in Business Administration / Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in cost engineering or project controls, with supervisory experience preferred.
