Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a cost analyst to perform detailed product cost simulations and support cost calculations for new product introductions and project transfers in Singapore.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Finance to ensure accurate costing data and drive continuous improvement. The role requires 3–5 years of costing experience and hands-on SAP and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of costing, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform product cost simulations for NPI, FAI, quotations, and project transfer activities.
• Calculate and update project standard costs, cost roll-ups, and cost revisions to maintain financial accuracy.
• Maintain and update material master data and costing parameters within the ERP system to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver timely costing information.
• Support audit requirements by preparing costing documentation and participating in process reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to costing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform product cost simulations for New Product Introduction (NPI), First Article Inspection (FAI) requests, quotations, and project transfer activities to support accurate pricing and budgeting
• Calculate and update project standard costs, cost roll-ups, and cost revisions to maintain financial accuracy
• Maintain and update material master data and costing parameters within the ERP system to ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver timely and accurate costing information

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in costing, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis
• Hands-on experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with other ERP systems is an advantage
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy in all costing activities
