Job summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking a Corrosion Engineer in Singapore to conduct corrosion risk assessments and recommend effective corrosion prevention solutions. The role involves evaluating materials and protective coatings to ensure asset integrity in the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in corrosion engineering. Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in corrosion engineering within Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, coatings, and cathodic protection systems.
• Experience in corrosion risk assessment and integrity management programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct corrosion risk assessments for pipelines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Evaluate corrosion issues and recommend appropriate materials, coatings, and cathodic protection systems.
• Develop and implement corrosion monitoring and prevention programs.
• Analyze inspection and monitoring data to identify corrosion threats and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and corrosion management procedures.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations related to corrosion control.
• Work closely with inspection, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure asset integrity.
