Job summary

Mentor Supply Chain Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Finance Analyst to review, analyze and interpret financial information and group reporting templates from all sites for Management and Group reporting. You will assist the reporting manager to ensure all reporting deadlines are strictly adhered to.

The role requires handling monthly subsidiary analyses, consolidation support, and collaboration with auditors and tax agents to meet deadlines. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Finance, accounting or related field.
• ACCA certification is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in group reporting/consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse monthly subsidiary financials; explain variances versus budget.
• Assist in consolidation and group reporting submissions.

Job Summary

Review, analyse and interpret financial information and other group reporting templates submitted by all sites for Management and Group reporting. Assist reporting manager to ensure all reporting deadlines for Management and Group Reporting are strictly adhered to.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse monthly financial submitted by subsidiaries and provide explanatory notes on variances vs budget and prior periods.
• Manage monthly reconciliation of SQL database for all sites and upload annual Budget for all sites.
• Assist in consolidation, review and analysis of actual performance against budget and related information for Management review and submission to Head Office.
• Prepare schedules, disclosures, and supporting documents for group consolidation and statutory filings.
• Assist in vetting group reporting templates submitted by all sites for submission to head office on time.
• Provide financial analysis as needed for operational and strategic requirements, including justification for new capital expenditures, credit limit application, review of new customers and existing customers for approval by Management.
• Liaise and assist regional finance teams on all financial and group reporting matters.
• Assist in cross border tax matters eg transfer pricing documentation and Masterfile.
• Assist in collation of information for computation and allocation of Corporate and IT Support Fees to all sites.
• Co-lead with Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance to liaise with auditors for financial and internal audits to meet audit deadlines.
• Assist the Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance to coordinate and support the tax agents for annual tax filing and meet tax filing deadlines.
• Manage full sets of financials for smaller entities, including GST filing, tax and audit matters.
• Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting and ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements.
• Support system enhancement projects, including ERP upgrades, reporting tools, and process automation initiatives.
• Undertake any other duties / projects which may be required from time to time.

Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma pursuing Professional certification in Finance and Accounting.
• ACCA certified will be added advantage.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with group reporting/consolidation will be added advantage.
• Mature, positive learning attitude, ability to multi-task., committed to meeting tight deadlines, meticulous for details, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well versed and familiar with Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs).
• Excellent knowledge in Excel.
