Alteco Chemical Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled finance professional to manage accounting operations. The role focuses on month-end closings, IFRS reporting, and collaboration with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and accuracy across financial processes.

Requirements include a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Immediate or short-notice start is preferred, with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Complete month-end closing and submit accurate financial reports on schedule.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Coordinate banking transactions with bankers.
• Communicate with subsidiaries to support financial operations.
• Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and IFRS-compliant reporting.
• Work with tax agents to prepare yearly tax submissions and tax computations.
• Prepare and submit GST returns per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify cash balances.
• Generate stock reports to support inventory and financial tracking.
• Manage corporate secretarial matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Produce ad-hoc financial reports to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end closing processes and submit accurate financial reports on schedule
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
• Coordinate banking transactions by liaising directly with bankers
• Communicate effectively with subsidiaries to support financial operations
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and prepare IFRS-compliant reporting packages
• Work with tax agents to prepare yearly tax submissions and draft tax computations
• Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify cash balances
• Generate stock reports to support inventory and financial tracking
• Manage corporate secretarial matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Produce other ad-hoc financial reports and perform duties as assigned to support business needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum requirement)
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting or finance work experience
