REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Corporate Banking Officer (Japanese Speaking) to support corporate banking relationships and syndicated loan operations in Singapore.

The role involves KYC/AML, credit assessments, document coordination, and regulatory tasks in collaboration with our Japan HQ. Requires Japanese (JLPT N3) and English proficiency, with a diploma or bachelor’s degree in banking/finance or related fields.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Handle KYC/AML procedures, including CDD, document verification and risk assessments.
• Conduct customer screening using World-Check One and prepare AML/KYC docs.
• Liaise with corporate clients and syndicated loan agents for required documents.
• Perform daily banking tasks, manage loan repayment schedules and input sheets.
• Assist in preparing internal documents, manuals, policies, and regulatory reports; translate as needed.
• Support coordination with clients, institutions, stakeholders, and headquarters in Japan.
• Assist with credit reviews and preliminarily assess syndicated loan transactions.

Our client, a Japanese bank in Singapore, is seeking a Corporate Banking Officer to support corporate banking relationships, syndicated loan transactions, credit assessments, and regulatory compliance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with corporate clients, financial institutions, internal stakeholders, and the bank's headquarters in Japan to support efficient banking operations and effective risk management.

Responsibilities

• Handle Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures, including customer due diligence (CDD), document verification, and risk assessments, in accordance with established guidelines and supervisors' instructions.
• Conduct customer screening using World-Check One and prepare the necessary AML/KYC documentation in accordance with internal procedures and compliance guidelines.
• Liaise with corporate clients and syndicated loan agents to collect, verify, and follow up on required documents under the guidance of supervisors.
• Perform daily banking administrative and operational tasks, including managing loan repayment schedules and preparing accounting system input sheets for loan disbursements and collections.
• Assist in preparing internal documents, manuals, policies, approval documents, and regulatory reports, including Japanese-English translation where required.
• Support communication and coordination with corporate clients, financial institutions, internal stakeholders, and the bank's headquarters in Japan.
• Assist with preliminary reviews of syndicated loan transactions, financial statement analysis, and the preparation of credit proposals as instructed by supervisors.

Requirement & Preferences

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to learn new tasks, receive guidance from supervisors, and apply feedback effective in daily work.
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 equivalent) and English, both written and spoken, to support business communication, document translation, and coordination with the bank's headquarters in Japan and other relevant stakeholders.

Advantageous

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in corporate banking, commercial banking, credit administration, syndicated loan operations, or a related banking function.
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and customer due diligence (CDD) procedures.
• Familiarity with Singapore banking regulations and applicable Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements.
