PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist to supervise events and serve as the escalation point for the team.

You will manage processing of dividends, rights issues, stock splits, tender offers and mergers, while monitoring details from exchanges, custodians and issuers. The role requires a Diploma/Degree with 1 year of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and advanced Excel (VBA/Macro).

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree with relevant experience (1 year).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including VBA/Macro; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the Corporate action events and act as the escalation point for the team.
• Process corporate actions including dividends, rights issues, stock splits, tender offers and mergers.
• Monitor and interpret event details from exchanges, custodians and issuers.
• Reconcile entitlements and payments received from custodians.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate actions and dividend payments for all markets; notify clients and traders promptly.
• Handle inquiries related to corporate actions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the supervision of the Corporate action events and and serves as the point of escalation for the team.
• Processing of Corporate action including dividends, rights issue, stock splits, tender offer and mergers.
• Monitoring, interpreting event details from exchanges, custodians and issuers.
• Reconciling entitlements and payments received from custodians.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate action events and dividend payments for all markets and prompt notification to clients and our traders.
• Handling enquiries related to corporate action events.
• Knowledgeable in US tax reporting and QI certification and perform periodic tax reporting.
• Comply with all procedures and ensure proper documentation
• Evaluate and streamline existing processes to ensure efficiency and adequate controls
• Lead projects and coordinate system testing till implementation.
• Other ad-hoc duties/ projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder with 1 year relevant experience
• Possess critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel (VBA, Macro), Words, Powerpoint
• Proven ability to lead with influence, work calmly under pressure and collaborate with colleagues throughout the company.
• Demonstrates the ability to work under tight deadlines while collaborating effectively as a team player.
• Self-starter and ability to influence and drive change.
