Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a proactive Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join a brand-new kitchen team for a casual Authentic Korean restaurant.

The role involves prepping ingredients for Korean dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with stock management while working in a fast-paced environment. WSQ Basic Food Hygiene is preferred; weekend/public holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, chop ingredients and assemble components for Korean dishes.

• Receive daily stock deliveries, label ingredients, and ensure FIFO.

• Clean cooking equipment, wash dishes, and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
• Receive daily stock deliveries, label ingredients, and ensure proper food rotation (FIFO)
• Dispose of waste and follow basic kitchen safety guidelines

About you

• Fast learner, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Prior F&B experience is a bonus, but beginners with a positive attitude are welcome
• Valid WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course (preferred)
• Able to stand for long shifts and handle light lifting
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
