Job summary

Gleave Partnership in Singapore is seeking an experienced automation engineer to provide dedicated engineering support for automation-related services, focusing on PMS and controls networks across the APAC fleet.

You will review submittals, drawings, SCADA and HMI applications, contribute to standards, templates and release packages, and provide technical project management under the Technical Lead.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PMS experience required.
• 5+ years of Controls network experience required.
• Inductive Automation Ignition 8.1+ with Perspective required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated engineering support for automation-related services.
• Verify standards across the APAC fleet for new work by controls contractors.
• Act as Client representative to review network, submittals, SCADA and HMI apps.
• Support updates to standards and create new templates for fleet adaptation.
• Travel as required to support services.
• Develop, maintain and improve Owner’s SCADA/HMI systems under technical guidance.
• Prepare release packages and release notes.
• Provide technical project management for the Controls team.

Job description

Provide dedicated engineering support for automation-related services, including:

• Verify that standards are maintained, kept up to date and adhered to across the entire APAC fleet for new work delivered by controls contractors.
• Act as the Client representative to review network/architecture submittals, drawings, SCADA and HMI applications.
• Support updates or modifications to existing standards and specifications as required.
• Support the creation of new standards and templates for AAPC fleet adaptation.
• Travel as required to support the services.
• Support the Owner’s Data Concentrator, SCADA and HMI systems under the Owner’s Technical Lead’s guidance, including development, maintenance, review and continuous improvement.
• Explore new feature development under the Technical Lead’s guidance.
• Update product package documentation.
• Prepare release packages and release notes.
• Provide technical project management services for the Controls team.
• Support the design of current APAC products and upcoming products, including HV Substation, MV Electrical Yard, MV Mechanical Yard and LV Building.
• Support other services related to the Client Repository and control packages.
• Develop Controls team standard documentation, programming tools and code templates.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of PMS experience – required.
• 5+ years of Controls network experience – required.
• Inductive Automation Ignition 8.1+ with Perspective experience – required.

Preferred Experience:

• IEC 61850 MMS, Modbus and DNP3 communication protocols.
• Siemens SICAM A8000 or SEL RTAC platforms.
• Schneider EPO 2022.
• Version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.
