Job summary

Job description

Purpose and Scope

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Municipal Services Control Hub team. As a Control Hub Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing fleet technology systems, driver safety monitoring, recycling initiatives, customer service requests, and bin management activities. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the effective delivery of municipal waste management services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. IoT and Smart Fleet Services Management
   1. Manage and oversee IoT-enabled systems deployed across waste collection vehicles and operational assets
   2. Administer telematics, GPS tracking systems, onboard cameras, sensors, vehicle diagnostics, and fleet monitoring platforms
   3. Monitor system performance and ensure operational reliability and data integrity
   4. Liaise with technology vendors and service providers to maintain and enhance fleet technology capabilities
   5. Analyse fleet and operational data to improve route efficiency, productivity, compliance, and service delivery
   6. Manage service contracts and vendor performance associated with IoT and fleet technology systems
2. Dangerous Driver Monitoring and Behaviour Management
   1. Oversee driver safety monitoring programmes using telematics and vehicle surveillance technologies
   2. Maintain and update a Dangerous Driver Register and driver performance database
   3. Monitor, track, and tabulate dangerous driving behaviours
   4. Produce driver scorecards, trend analyses and monthly reports
   5. Identify recurring safety concerns and implement corrective and preventive measures
   6. Coordinate coaching, retraining, awareness programmes, and disciplinary actions where required
3. Municipal Waste Operations and Service Management
   1. Lead and coordinate weekly Cash-for-Trash (CFT) programmes and recycling initiatives
   2. Liaise with residence network, town councils, recycling partners, and stakeholders to support community recycling efforts
   3. Coordinate operational resources and response teams to attend to overflowing bins and related service issues
   4. Lead and oversee bin sticker rebranding projects
   5. Ensure waste and recycling bins are labelled in accordance with corporate branding and regulatory requirements
4. Municipal Waste Operations - Bin replacement
   1. Lead and coordinate all bin replacement and delivery activities for Bedok and Tuas Depot
   2. Centralise all bin deliveries and distribution operations at BD
   3. Monitor and maintain accurate bin inventory records to ensure adequate stock availability
   4. Coordinate and manage all CRM cases related to bin replacement, ensuring timely resolution and case closure
   5. Work closely with Operations and internal stakeholders to coordinate bin deployments for special events

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline
• Preferably 2 years' experience in Operations, Logistics, Fleet Management, Transport Operations or related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft office application
• Experience with IoT, telematics or smart monitoring systems will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
