Job summary

DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL AND AUTOMATION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Control Engineer to design, install and commission control panels in Singapore. You will prepare electrical drawings in AutoCAD, assemble panels, wire components, and troubleshoot systems on site.

Responsibilities include BOM preparation, instrumentation wiring, testing, and providing technical support during site installations. Strong communication and willingness to work on-site are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in control panel building, wiring and installation.
• Experience in control and instrumentation engineering.
• Ability to prepare BOM and technical documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work on-site when required.

Job Description – Control Engineer

1. Job Description

• - Handle control panel design, engineering, installation and commissioning works.
• - Prepare electrical and control panel drawings using AutoCAD.
• - Carry out control panel assembly, wiring, testing and troubleshooting.
• - Perform motor and pump control wiring and installation.
• - Handle instrumentation installation, wiring and integration.
• - Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
• - Conduct testing, inspection and communication checks for control systems.
• - Provide technical support for site installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

2. Requirements

• - Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation or a related field.
• - Relevant experience in Control and Instrumentation Engineering.
• - Hands‑on experience in control panel building, wiring and installation.
• - Knowledge of electrical drawings, control circuits and motor/pump wiring.
• - Experience in troubleshooting electrical and control system issues.
• - Ability to prepare BOM and technical documentation.
• - Good communication and coordination skills.
• - Willingness to work on‑site when required.

3. Preferred Skills

• - Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical and control panel drawings.
• - Knowledge of control panel design and component selection.
• - Experience in panel assembly, wiring, testing and commissioning.
• - Knowledge of PLC, HMI and industrial communication protocols.
• - Experience with instrumentation devices, sensors and transmitters.
• - Ability to perform motor starter, VFD and pump control wiring.
• - Experience in electrical testing, loop checking and communication testing.
• - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, SLDs and wiring diagrams.
